Snow White, a young girl who is the fairest of them all. Her tale is told by both the Grimm and Disney, yet the tales differ in many ways. The Grimm tale includes the evil queen trying to kill snow white at three separate times. The first time the queen in disguise tightens Snow White’s bodice to tight and suffocates her. The second time, the queen poisons a comb and sells it to Snow White while in disguise, the queen then the proceeds to comb through Snow Whites hair and kills her. The seven dwarves save Snow White from both of these attempts by removing the object that is killing her. The final attempt is something Disney keep in their version though still modified, the evil queen poisons snow white with an apple. Disney likely changed this due to a need for scene time and to not seem to repetitive. Disney also changed the tale to seem less gruesome. In the Grimm tale, the evil queen asks the huntsman to bring back the heart and liver of Snow White for her to eat. As well at the end of the story, the evil queen is forced to dance in hot iron shoes until her death.
